Chiropractic Provides Relief from Migraines and Chronic Pain
Recent research shows that people who suffer from chronic pain and migraines may find relief through chiropractic care. In the study, researchers followed a 52-year-old patient who had suffered from migraines and pain in her left arm and leg for over 20 years. Her pain was so severe that she sometimes went to the hospital for relief, and the persistent pain was affecting her quality of life.
“Chronic pain disorders, including fibromyalgia, back pain, and neck pain, are more common among chronic migraine sufferers.”
Prescription medication offered only slight relief, but after five weeks of treatments (three times/week), her symptoms were greatly reduced. At that point, she opted to continue chiropractic care on a monthly basis.
